Barcode Solutions Pty Limited is an Australian software company with 20 years of innovation, serving over 300+ clients in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore since 1987.
Barcode Solutions was formed in 1987 and has since developed a range of software solutions for specialist applications in the retail and wholesale marketplace. The initial software development concentrated on retail bookselling and culminated in the release of BookScan™, a sophisticated, powerful and fully networked program, handling all aspects of inventory control and point of sale. The success of BookScan™ lead to modifications and implementation in other environments and the software now spans a range of applications including:
- Book Retail and Wholesale
- Stationery Retail and Wholesale
- Music Record Retail and Wholesale
- Multi Store, Warehouse and Distribution
In June 2001, all products were combined into the one 32-bit Windows suite of applications, offering a rich, powerful and open application – e-Bility™, now incorporating e-mail and e-commerce technologies.
